I’m so glad you’re here
Brianna Valenzuela, MSW RSW
Hi, I’m Brianna - mom, therapist, social worker, neurodivergent, and human.
I believe that healing happens when we allow ourselves to be present with our stories, especially the ones we might usually rush past or hide away.
Figuring out our way through these challenges isn’t always manageable on our own. I provide therapeutic support to clients in my private practice, Embrace your Humanity.
Here you can also find a space to connect — with me, with the content, and more importantly, with yourself. I’ll bring my expertise and humanity, if you bring your willingness and open heart!
I’m so glad you’re here!

This blog is not intended to constitute professional advice and does not establish a therapist-client relationship. The purpose of this space is to introduce conversations around topics that people tend to avoid and spark thoughtful reflection. If you need support, please formally connect with a trained therapist to discuss your personal plan of care.
Skills Workshops
These 4-week virtual skills workshops provide clients the opportunity to learn and practice the skills and strategies of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. It is not a traditional DBT Skills Program. These workshops are broken down into separate workshops based on the four DBT modules: Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness.
Group Programs
Group programming offers structured course material to registered clients. It provides the opportunity to become curious about their behavioural patterns, connect with other like-minded individuals, and develop skills to help with their struggles. We offer groups for Codependency, Neurodiversity (specifically related to ADHD), and Boundary Setting.
Therapeutic Services
A personalized therapeutic approach for individuals, couples or parents to explore the specific challenges they are facing. It can be used as a short-term support for situational hard seasons or long-term support to create change on a deeper level.
